24/7 Care & Supervision

Care and supervision is provided for all residents around the clock

Activities of Daily Living

All 6/6 Activities of Daily Livings (ADLs) are provided:

-Toileting/Changing Diapers

-Eating/Feeding

-Bathing: Shower and/or Bed Bath

-Dressing/Grooming

-Hygiene Care

-Transferring/Help with Walking

Three Nutritious Meals per Day

Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner is provided at any time of day

 

Residents may request any meal from staff at any time

There is no limitation to the amount of food each resident can have

Unlimited Snacks

Snacks of any quantity at any time of day or night are provided

The types of snacks includes:

American, Japanese, Chinese, Korean and Filipino

Medication Management

Care staff are responsible to give residents their prescribed medication on-time daily

Daily Activities & Movement

Daily gentle movement and exercises are encouraged but not mandatory 

Laundry

Laundry (washing, drying, folding) is done typically twice a week

 

More times if necessary

Housekeeping

Cleaning, including changing bed sheets, mopping and vacuuming residents' rooms are done typically 1-2 times per week

More times if necessary

Incontinence Products
& Toiletries 

All incontinence products and toiletries are included in monthly dues

 

Products included are:

-Diapers, wipes, gloves

-Shampoo, Conditioner, Body Wash

Brand New Hospital Beds
+
Pressure Relief Mattresses

Brand new fully electric Drive medical beds with pressure relief mattresses that help prevent bed sores (in addition to care staff repositioning every few hours)

Large TVs for Each Resident

Each resident has his or her own 55 inch TV in his/her room in addition to the large 85 inch TV in the living room

Fall Prevention Alarms
&
Wireless Call Buttons

Each resident has their own call button they can ring at any time in addition to fall prevention alarms in their bedrooms

Private & Semi-Private Rooms

There are three private rooms and one shared master bedroom for a total of five residents

Brand New Furniture

Roxbury Elderly Care's theme is

Wood n' White Scandinavian chic 

All brand new furniture with an Asian-Scandinavian fusion style

Administrator was influenced by her ski trips to Scandinavia 

Heating & AC

Home is equipped with heating during the winter and AC during the summer

Can also provide a personal mini heater and fan if requested

Transportation

Two times per month transportation to and from doctor's appointments is included in the monthly fees

Transportation is arranged via a licensed  elderly transportation company

Concierge Medical Service
or
Private Duty Nursing

Private duty nursing and concierge service are NOT included in the monthly fees but can be arranged if requested

 

Some examples of this are: changing of catheters or colostomy bags if Home Health has been exhausted, more medical care without leaving the home 

Flat Rate Fee Structure

24/7 care and supervision, all ADLs, all meals/snacks, medication management, housekeeping/laundry, incontinence products/toiletries and twice a month transportation is included in one flat rate that is paid to the facility on a monthly basis

Monthly fees are determined by the care required and the room type

Wolfie's Cafe

All residents and their family, friends and visitors are welcome to help themselves to any food and drinks from Wolfie's Cafe

The espresso machine is a fancy Italian handmade machine called Rocket Espresso Apartmento Nera. There are many Monin syrups, sauces and chocolates available; all can request a coffee drink made to their liking at any time

Wolfie's Bar

All can help themselves to any drinks in the mini fridge

 

Alcoholic drinks are mostly available during parties that the facility hosts

 

Wine or any other alcoholic beverage can be given to residents if requested by the resident AND approval is granted by the resident's primary care physician.

Backyard Entertainment

All are welcome to go to the backyard patio, where there is a jacuzzi, pizza oven, grill, lounge chairs and a couch
